When I picked up Moogie (post-cremation), I know
it was hard, but the receptionist at my vet's office was so kind, it actually
helped me to be around someone who was sympathetic when I picked her up. Sure, I
cried in the office, but I don't think I could ever handle having my loved-ones
ashes delivered like a pizza. To each his own, I suppose, but that just seems
too informal of an ending for me. I can't imagine too many vet offices have
enough employees with enough spare time to be hand delivering remains on a
regular basis either, and I wouldn't ever trust UPS or Fed-Ex to treat them with
the respect they deserve.

I collect KMR kitten formula labels for Bazil, a 3 yr old special needs cat who must live on a liquid diet for the rest of his life.
