I spoke to our list-mate Sally about what she has used in the past to
bring down a fever. She told me about a kitty she had that was running
a high temp. She had her on Baytril for 3 days with no results, and her
vet prescribed "Delta Albaplex". It's an antibiotic in conjunction with
a steroid, (she couldn't remember which ones, but your vet should know,
when you discuss it with her). Sally said one dose and the temp was
gone. When I asked about homeopathic remedies, she told me that they
are so specific to each particular case, (you are treating the animal's
general condition, not just the symptoms of illness), that she wouldn't
want to just throw something out there for you to try. She suggested
that I contact a lady named Darla who has just been certified in
homeopathic care and is active on the Holisticat group. I'll email her
and ask if it's alright for me to give you her address. I guess you
could join the group and have access to her there as well. I hope Bandy
is doing well today.
