Thanks for that Robin. A couple of Qs, if you don't mind me asking: Did the 3 negative cats have FeLV vaccinations every year? Also, were the Elisa and IFA tests recent ones -- ones that you just had done?
I'm in permanent conflict about mixing (I never have mixed).

I was a member of this group previously but unsubscribed when our FELV + died in June of this year.  We have three other cats who had lived with him his whole life and I just wanted everyone to know that they have all tested negative on both Elisa and IFA.  We are of course very happy about this but I wanted that information to be available to others who worry about the contagiousness of the disease.
