Jen,
That is the best news!  Sorry if I missed an email somewhere-- I get so many emails that I often do.  I am so glad to hear the news though, knock on wood! I always assume the worst with them too. Patches actually just started having some loose stool yesterday and today and I immediately fear intestinal lymphoma. But she had it in the past a few years ago and metronidazole took care of it, so I am trying that. But I understand assuming the worst. Much better to be happy when things turn out good then shocked when they don't, I guess.

OMG!  Yes!!  I'm so sorry, I thought I had cc-ed you in the email I
wrote!  I took SP to the specialist on Monday for an ultrasound...and
she couldn't find a thing wrong with his chest cavity!!!  His heart
looked good and no suspicious masses...So we're going with feline asthma
for now...I'm going to taper him off the pred and then just keep an eye
on him!  I seriously could've planted a big ol' kiss on the specialist
when she couldn't find anything wrong with him!  I told her I've never
had good news when it came to the FeLV guys and she said, "Well, we
usually don't have much good news to give out!"  :)  So it was a good
morning all around!  I'm so happy my boy is going to be around for a
little while longer!  I think he knows he's stuck with us, too...so he's
just decided to make the best of it!  :)  Thanks, again, for all your
help...I seriously don't know what I'd do without this wonderful group!!
