I have known people wh0 laid it themselves......... I think I could do the middle, but not do all of the pieces that have to be cut around the edges of the rooms....

Anyone who has been here has commented (surprised) that they really like the tile.  Most people thought I was crazy to do it at the time. lol.  But now they say they like it.

I will be glad to send pictures to anyone that wants to see them.  My kitchen counters and backsplash were tiled when I bought the house (including bathroom floors and countertops.  I love it.)  I sealed everything.  That is no trouble at all.  And I just vacuum the countertops now and then wash them. lol.  I don't have to worry about the cats scratching the tops, etc....

I wanted to tile up the sides of the walls for maybe 6 inches (to discourage scratching or spraying) but it was too costly at the time.

No experience here but much interest in the responses!
My wood floors and carpeted upstairs are trashed!

I can't see my husband and I laying tile ourselves but
maybe some people from the organization will help us.
