Hi, everyone, I need to ask for your prayers for my very
first baby, Ayumi…I brought her to US from Japan with me as a feral kitty 14
years ago, and she is my very baby. The vet found some enlargement in her
heart a couple of months ago and she has been taking support medicine for her
heart to prevent her from heart failure.. I have been taking her to my vet
every couple of weeks to do a check up and I took her this morning again to run
a total body function.. and it turned out that her PCV is down to 20, which is
very very low.. her PCV was 34 in mid July.. and I am freaking out.. my vet
really thinks it’s an error.. I would not normally freak out as most of
her blood work is pretty normal.. except that Peter and Naomi whom I lost recently
has shown anemic in their blood work as well.. I am brining her back tomorrow
to run her PCV again.. and I am so praying that that was an error at a lab,
which my vet thinks that it can be the most inaccurate measure as it varies significantly
sometimes depending on what portion of the blood they took from the sample if
they did not have enough sample.. please please pray that her PCV is not what it
came out from IDEXX.. she has lost lots of weight for the past few months.. but
she acts okay.. we take a walk together.. and she eats her favorite food…I
just love her sooooooooooo very much.. I would appreciate your good thought and
energy for my baby…
