I habe had god luck with Baytril, just make sure the dosage is at a safe level not to causse eye problems. Most vets are aware of this and careful. Baytril saved Sammy my FIV cat,

Baytril does help with URI's. It is very strong, though, and what gave Lucy the original diarrhea that started her IBD, so she can't get it. It works well, though.
