I have used epogen on 5 cats so far, but I did not see any immediate response - for anemia case, it takes up to one to three weeks to take an effect - and the main think you need to watch is to keep an eye on BP as it will increase BP and cat can become blind due to high BP, and could cause seizures - the both of these things happened to my baby Hannibal whom I was treating his anemia due to CRF - but when anemia happens due to CRF, you really don't have much choice but to use epogen as otherwise you would lose a cat from anemia.. my Ayumi is on epogen.. it does not make her feel better directly, but her PCV is slowly going up because of it.
