It is a steroid. The vet gave Smokey this because she said it would help him to feel better and to feel like eating. He only got the Winstrol injections every 2 weeks about 3 times. When Smokey first started on the IR he had a fever. We gave him 2 injections per week for about a month and gradually decreased it.
