Thank you Lance for your kind words. I know, I would get nowhere legally.
I have joined a discussion group about pets on the site where I learned Boo
was for sale. I told my story and everyone is disgusted. Interestingly
enough a dispicable pet store owner has recently been shut down by the City
and this group I joined is pretty militant, writing to the Minister of
something or another, and trying to get him prosecuted. All kinds of bad
stuff is coming out about this guy how he had stores in other near by towns
and how he was shut down in them too. Most of the cats were too sick to
save but many of the dogs have been adopted out. When I calm down I do plan
on writing a letter to our local newspaper. It is a very opportune time to
do so. I'll tell my story so people know exactly who I am referring to
without mentioning names. I'm still waiting on the guy from the humane
society to call me and let me know that he visited the seller's home. He
told me unfortunately nothing can stop these people from doing the very same
thing again. There are no laws to protect an animal, just buyers of them.
He did say he would demand the contact information of all cats they sold.
That should cause them at least some grief. I don't like being angry or
vindictive but I think they deserve to suffer at least a fraction of what
Boo, Bob and I have.

Lynne
