I would not use anything in the affected eye, you don't know if there is a
scratch or cornea damage. I had a cat with a melting corneal ulcer and
learned a lot about eyes and the biggest thing was never use anything without
the Drs. approval, you can do more harm than good. I would just keep
it clean tonight by wiping with a sterile gauze pad, and get to
the vet in the morning.
