Thanks to Garth and Jack for pointing out Vagrant. It handles docker file sharing nicely and simplifies the ssh process quite a bit on the user side. I made Vagrant scripts for dockerized FEniCS. Instructions can be found at:

But the stable version is complete and useable. I shall try again to finish the dev image tomorrow. I can only test it Archlinux.
