I have two different reactions to this guide.
My first reaction is that it's spot-on in pointing out things that don't
work in anime fanfics. It's good reading for anyone who wants to be a good
fanfic writer.
My second reaction is that it's completely pointless.

fanfic is an emotional experience, a way to express a scenario the author
has imagined.
Many fanfic authors write to please themselves. They have no real interest
in contructive feedback; they're satisified with one or two "That's great!"
comments. So what if "you're" is spelled "your" or they're confusing Japan
with China? Those are irrelevant details. Expressing their thoughts on
paper and getting some kind of acknowledgment from it is all they really
want.
In the long run, many fanfic authors aren't interested in becoming good
writers. Thus, this writing guide, while excellent, is useless to them.
I don't want to discourage the effort; far from it. If even one author
looks at it and takes its lessons to heart, then it's worthwhile.
I guess what I'm saying is that don't expect this to have much of an impact.
People will still write carelessly and ignore any guides you provide.
I do love what you've written. I have a few ideas of my own that I may put
down on paper eventually - I think I did a very long time ago.
