Anyone know anything about Ram Wools, in Winnipeg, Canada? I was just paging
through the catalogue I received a couple of weeks ago (just goes to show how
terribly busy I've been at work, if it took me that long to look through a
new knitting catalogue!) and have found a vest (Rosewood, page 4, if anyone
else has this too!) that is just calling my name in the worst way. The kit
price seems too good to be true, though I'm not familiar with the yarns
called for - and other prices, for kits made up in yarns I *am* familiar
with, seem to be fairly well in line.

Anyway, any comments from anyone who knows them would be gratefully accepted.

Back to the catalogues. Trying, still, to get a jump on Christmas.
Meanwhile, I want to start knitting that side-to-side jacket in the WORST
way. I have been looking up little bitty colour-patterns in Starmore's
fabulous colour patterns resource book - can't remember the name; think it's
out of print now; all black-and-white graphs of different colour pattern
possibilities, from traditional Fair Isle to panels to motifs to
allovers...looking through it for patterns I can use to make the transition
from one colour to the next less than just "stop knitting with one, start
with the other." I'm babbling.

The camping trip, by the way, lasted twelve hours. What a disaster.
Sometimes I should just LISTEN to what the fates are trying to tell me!
