My Spin Off arrived today and it was great to see list member Holly's article about weaving with her handspun. Really good piece!
I have woven some with my handspun and my trouble was with my warp singles. No, they didn't break, but they did cause the woven fabric to curl. Was this because they had too much twist, do you think? I am thinking about spinning and natural dyeing wool for a shawl in various shades of yellow (which should be easy as yellow dye stuff is so prevalent) and would like to use singles again for warp. Holly, do you have any wisdom on this? Nancy in southern Indiana, USA To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
