Hi fiber fans, I've been lurking and really like to read what everyone's been doing. It gives me wonderful ideas. The project I have in mind is a long cape with a hood made of a brown corriedale and gray mohair. This will be a heavy cape, possibly knit (suggestions welcome), and I'm wanting to do a medium felt on it and hope to maintain a soft to medium drape. Now for my question. I've been told that mohair doesn't shrink like wool and was wondering what percentage of wool to mohair would be good. I'd like to make some samples before diving into this project.
