Since you have mostly coiled roving, you can just lift off the coils, about
5 in worth at a time. I put them
on a scale upside down and then pile any additional fiber on top of the
coil. I let the customers ball
it at home after a sale. The coil is easier to spin from than the ball, as
the fiber pulls off from the top of the pile uniformly.

You will find some folks ball the fiber, others skein it and then tie the
skeins. For the fiber you got from Ozark Carding, I'd
recommend you leave it in the coils and just take from 4 to 6 in "pies" of
fiber, for lack of a better term to call it, and weigh the
"pies" and let the new owner decide how they want to store the fiber.
Different uses may require different preparation.
