My apologies to some of you who sent in comments for the list. I try to get to them between doing updates here and working on other things and I seem to have misplaced them. If all of you who did submit something (if you still have a copy) and want it posted, send it to me now and I'll try to catch up. Sorry again but I had some technical difficulties on one of the servers and between that and urgent family matters I just got behind (again) ... A lot has been going on here. I'm trying to set aside enough time now that the weather is more to my liking, to get out and walk/jog/run to get back into shape. Summer was not good for keeping my weight down but now that I have the IPOD and have laid out a great running path here on my property I am out everyday using it. I have about 10 acres here and have this path I cleared all around the perimeter. With twists and turns it is about a mile and I try to get in anywhere from 6-10 miles a day. As for other interesting things going on, I posted some articles to the Mike Malloy blog and wasn't surprised when so many came back attacking me and my credentials when I posted the USSLiberty essay (http://pnews.org/art/ussliberty.shtml). It really amuses me when someone says I am making up my experiences even though I have a fairly comprehensive bio on the net (http://pnews.org/bio/). I've had that happen with Chatmag, who I never heard of before I saw their incredulous remarks about me and from some obvious retard on the Malloy blog (called el_cid). It is also amazing how these people refuse to identify themselves. They never provide credentials or any information about themselves. Since the blog fad, most of them fading into obscurity and dying from not ever being visited by anyone, but others which have become popular (for reasons I'll never understand - except people love to follow, rather than lead and they look for reasons to confirm their own prejudices - and blogs like ATrios and Daily Kos are written by anonymous people who NEVER tell you anything about themselves. Who are they?? Who did they write for before. Why is what they say important or more informed than what anyone has to say? You know that opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. That is so trite and a cliche but it is true. I have never tried to hide who I am and always thought it is important to introduce yourselves to people you write for. I like to know who is writing for me also. I liken it to a cult following, on these blogs where the writers remain anonymous - and talk shows on Air America are like that also except they are mostly about who can rant the loudest and longest. I get tired just hearing them - and often don't bother. There are a lot better sources for information, including "Left, Right and Center" and "To The Point" (or The Point) on NPR and others like that which you can podcast. But I do listen on occasion to Majority Report (Sam Seeder only) and sometimes to Mike Malloy and now more often than I use to, to Al Frankin who has the best guests on his show and seems to be the most balanced and informative of the talk show hosts on Air America. Majority Report on Air American features a lot of blogs and whenever they come on his program they always sound so young, don't they? Well, it is opinions that make those shows popular and Enough rambling. ..... Go ahead and resubmit, those of you who I didn't post and I'll do it now. And if you have anything else to say, go ahead and do it and I'll try to get it all up on the list as quickly as I can. Again I'm sorry for being slow (g).. but I really, really, really do have another life besides the net.
