When we lost NWI to Gore's new Current channel I was appalled at losing an alternative news source, which was at least center-left, was Canadian based, hat terrific programming with Hot Type and the Journal. Well, we have LINK her on DirectTV, but when they're not playing world music, which is awful (I'd rather take rap) they're running the same things over and over again -- and but they do have Amy Goodman and her DemocracyNow hour news and views. But we need around the clock news and we're not getting it. Hell, we need democracy also and we don't have it.
