The theme of the conference is “Libraries and Librarianship by Design”
The objectives of the conference are:
1. To introduce the concept of Blended Librarianship to library
education
and practice;
2. To connect the faculty and librarians with instructional technologies
relevant to the students learning styles;
3. To introduce the theory and practice of instructional design to
library
education and practice;
4. To open up more librarian and library customer collaboration through
information literacy.
There are four technical sessions, these are:
Morning Session
Blended Librarianship as a Design ………Dr. J. C. Buenrostro,Jr.
Instructional Technologies……………… Prof. Johann F A. Cabbab
Afternoon Session
Introduction to Instructional Design…… Dr. Nora Claravall
Information Literacy in LIS curriculum… Prof. Corazon M. Nera
Conference Fee (Includes morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, plus
certificate of participation)
PhP600 for non-PATLS member
PhP500 for PATLS member
PhP300 for Graduate student
PhP200 for Undergraduate student
