The Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc. (PASLI) in cooperation with the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City, Quezon Province is organizing a gathering of school librarians in the Quezon Province to reach out to its members in the area on August 17, 2012 from 7am to 12pm. This is the first for the association and it hopes to see its members in this assembly.
The gathering will offer a workshop on the theme: *‘Teaching Information Literacy to School-Age Children’* to be conducted by the current PASLI president Mr. Marion Jude Gorospe. He is also the Library Media Center supervisor at Miriam College High School. Participation in the PASLI Reach Out in Quezon Province is FREE if you are: 1. an currently paid up member of the PASLI* from Quezon Province* ; or, 2. going to apply/renew membership to PASLI on or before August 17, 2012 as a *school librarian from Quezon Province*. Membership to PASLI is Php150.00 only. Participation is LIMITED TO FIRST 60 REGISTRANTS.
