> i had like some advise on buying a flatbed with transparancy adapter.
2 years ago I had the same idea and I have bought an HP 6200c ... it was the
shi@est idea of my life because of my ignorance about scanning .
After few weeks of swearing in Italian, Arabic and English .... and thanks
to the suggestions received from the friends of the NGs (I didn't know at
that time these fine MLs) I decided to buy a Nikon LS-30 .
Since then I produced a thousands of scannings and I am delighted.
IMHO the LS-30 is the best price/performer to scan slides (I have thousands)
and negs .

Sincerely.

Ezio
