Dear Jan,

I have an Epson 1600 which is now supported by Vuescan. It comes with an
adapter for 35mm film that holds 4 strips of six exposures. I have not used
it for making contact sheets since I do not process my own film. It does
very good medium format scans with Vuescan at 1600dpi so I assume it will
make a good contact sheet. I do not think you will find anything to do 6
strips at a time within reasonable budget constraints. The larger scanners
are considerably more expensive. The slide adapter holds 15 slides. It is
very fast.
