The zonezero gamma test given above uses a dither pattern that's prone to 'risetime' errors that vary from monitor to monitor. It looks as if my monitor has a gamma of 1.5 on that test as well, although I've set mine up with a photometer, and I know it's 1.8. I made the same mistake of trying to use too fine a dither pattern when I first started messing about with these things. Regards, Pete.
