Correct - I'm scanning my 8x10's at 1200 or 1600 ppi the anti newton sheets are a bit over 8x10 and are like a textured sheet of mylar. They come in packs of one hundered - so when they get scratched I dump em! (They are designed for drum scanning instead of fluid - tape the original to the sheet then that goes on the scanner, dump it when you're finished) I just leave one on my flatbed and put the film on top of it when I'm scanning a batch. Suprisingly (and I'm in a dry climate) I don't seem to suffer too much from static with them. I'll have to try and find the info - I think it's made/sold by Mediastreet and is about $20 for a hundred or fifty or soemthing tim ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe by mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with 'unsubscribe filmscanners' or 'unsubscribe filmscanners_digest' (as appropriate) in the message title or body
