The demise of K-25 is a shame, but I would suggest you consider looking at the Fuji "F" line of films. In specific, the Provia 100F is a fairly neutral film with very fine grain which scans well. It gives you a 2 stop advantage over the K-25, as well and uses standard E-6 processing.
