Years ago in 1966, as a 17-year-old nascent composer, I wrote an orchestral passacaglia on my girlfriend's telephone number, 889-4716. It was among the 40 compositions destroyed in The Detonacy of May 23, 1976, at the second biennial Delaware Valley Festival of the Avant-Garde.
