I was able to reproduce this just a couple of weeks ago, and got it 
confirmed, so [hopefully] tech support now at least knows what bug you're 
referring to. It seems like it's a chain of events that produce it. If you 
encounter it, do like this to be able to send more reproducible files to 
Coda:
1. When the problem happens, undo something like 4-5 Speedy events 
back
2. Try to repeat the same chains of edits, using the same measures as 
before
3. If the problem happens again, you have moved enough steps 
backward in the file to have a reproducible scenario
4. Undo backwards again to the same point as after #1
5. Save the file and send it to Coda together with the exact steps on how 
to reproduce the bug
