We are stuck with this for now. The easiest workaround may be to make a dot articulation that automatically places itself outside the staff next to the stem. > - More than one layer gives more than one rythm staff. So when I create tab for a lute with, say 10, strings, I make just 6 > tab lines visible. Open string 7 is no problem. Open string 8 to 10 has nice > new articulations or expression. But how to place them? We are also stuck with this one for now. I hope users will develop and share libraries of expressions or articulations for all of the different 'average' lutes. > 3. Actually, I sometimes use ties in tab. You can turn them on in the staff atributes. Otherwise you do have to tweak things maually. I sometimes find it quicker to make a copy of the standard staff before converting to tab. I then adjust this staff so that it will convert like I want it, then delete it. >I'll make my list of suggestions known to Coda in time > for the next upgrade. Yes, these are issues I raised during testing, but the more people they hear from the better chance of improvements.
