Hi: I found your web site from the Finale support page. I have a problem that perhaps you can be of help.
I use Finale 2002b on a Mac G4, OS 9.2.2. I have a Kurzweil PC2 synth that is connected to the Mac through a MOTU FastLane MIDI box (which has unbelievable Take 6 vocal samples). I bought a Club Mac 32X/10X/40X CDRW which came with Toast Lite to burn the Finale files to audio CD, using the Take 6 samples in the Kurtzweil. Finale Tech Support recommended UltraRecorder shareware to change my MIDI files into AIFF. It does this fine. However, it uses the Quicktime sounds in the Mac for playback or burning the CDs. I want it to burn the Kurzweil sounds, but I don't think that the UltraRecorder software has that capability. The UltraRecorder on line help suggested I use MoviePlayer as playback software. So here's my question to you. Can the Movieplayer play back the AIFF file I made on UltraRecorder with the Kurzweil Take 6 samples? And, my real goal, how do I burn these sounds unto a CD? Any guidance you might provide would be very much appreciated.
