I think I can help on this:

When Finale is playing your music through the MOTU Midi interface the
Kurzweil is sounding and you get the unbelievable sound that you mention.

The problem is, how to record that sound back into the computer so you can
have an AIFF file to burn the CD?

1) First you need an audio input in your G4. The problem is that the G4 has
not got one! So you will need some sort of interface. The cheapest one is
the Griffin iMic.

Get it in http://www.griffintechnology.com/audio/imic_main.html

2) Letīs suposse you already have the iMic...Then you need an application
that can record trough it (or any other interface you may have). Coaster is
perfect for that.

Get it in http://www.visualclick.de/products/coaster/

2) Connect the sound output of the Kurzweil PC2 to the iMic input.

3) Put the Coaster app to record.

4) Launch Finale and play your piece

5) Stop the recording.

With this process you will have an AIFF with the sound of the Kurzweil. The
only problem that needs solution is that the AIFF file probably have a
certain amount of silence at the beginning. You will need to trim that with
an audio editing app. But thatīs another e-mail, I guess.

Hope it helps.

Javier Ruiz.

P.S. To have the sound of the Kurzweil you need to send it the MIDI notes
somehow and record the result. Any other solution is, err... Wrong.
