OK, I have tried to work this out on my own. . . This is for a large orchestra piece.
I have a passage in 12/4 - and I want 3 staves to go into 4/4 at the same time (bar=bar) - when I do this either the 4/4 bars get cramped, or the 12/4 bars do. Any help? PLEASE! (This is driving me a little crazy. . .) I have set these 3 lines as having Independent Time Signatures in the instrument dialog box. Fin 2001d WIN98 (I just got Fin 2003 - would this be better in this version?) Oh yeah - one other thing, when I sometimes work with the tuplet tool the Finale application just shuts off. Only sometimes. Many thanks for any help!
