I can see how this might save a lot of time. What do you do when the
continued syllable falls a couple of measures or more from the start of the
system, as in a long melisma?

And, what happens if you change the measure per system layout- are you using
measure-attached, notye-attached, or just a regular text block as the
expression? Do you have to locate them all and move them?

Is all this easier than waiting til the piece has been formatted completely
and is ready for print and then going through to use ALT-key combinations to
place real hard spaces, etc.?

Wanting an easier way here!......
