Agreed.  A separate view % for the Edit Lyrics box would definitely be
welcome. I never had this problem until I finally gave in and started using
a Fixed size for lyrics for most of my templates, rather than let the
lyrics type reduce along with the rest of the page. (I would have preferred
not to, but the treatment of lyrics on reduced-note cadenzas made it
necessary. Grrr.)

Reading the lyric text at 10 pt or smaller is unacceptable. I typically
enter it at a larger size and then change it all afterward. That's not such
a big deal, but it's silly that it's necessary.

(Of course, before that all the text was displayed in a single font and
size with the attributes entered as codes. I actually didn't mind that,
since I'm a code geek.)

Yeah, me too. One of the tricks in my bag was to respace the music with the
lyrics at a reduced size, and then change the size back afterward. I did
that a lot in Fin2000. In Fin2002 I do it only occasionally, on a spot
basis, since other techniques work better now for most situations.
