Isn't the HP 4P the postscript model? I thought that was what the P stood for, but perhaps I am mistaken.

All this is not necessary. If your printer has postscript you should use a postscript driver for all your printing. > > 4. It is probably your only chance, should your printer really not have the postscript chip already inside. Otherwise try Ghostscript, which will let you print EPS graphics via the PDF route, or perhaps even directly. That works with any printer.
