Dear fellow-listers,

I am editing a choral fugue (with orchestra) with lots of
coloraturas. From the Fin2k3 handbook I learn that cross system hyphens
are only possible when assigning an Alt-0160 to the first note of the
new system with a following hyphen. So far so good. What I don't like is
that the continued hyphens start way AFTER the first note of the system.
Is there an easy way to have them start at least under the first note,
maybe also before it (indicating, that the phrase in continuing)? I have
tried assigning "Alt0160" + "-" + "Alt0160" to the first note which
almost gives the result I want. The "-" under the first note is almost
twice as long as the continuing hyphens, however. What can I do?

        Thanks for any help!

        Regards from Vienna,
                        Mario.
