I agree, I really like Pagemaker. It works really well, is pretty robust, and does many things much better (IMHO) than other applications. I've tried out Indesign 2 and tried to import some reasonably complex documents into it. No real luck, but then again, I didn't know what I was doing. It didn't seem to import the stories with their correct format, let alone things like mixtures of graphics etc. I had to redo all the text blocks etc., which made it basically unusable in terms of what I had already done. However, there are some great things in Indesign. Tables, for example, are excellent and easy to produce - leaving Pagemaker and Adobe Table for dead. For some reason, the printout looks better as well. Maybe they have re-done the kerning algorithms or something. The extra bells and whistles are very good too.
