[Finale] roland pianoplus 300 and midi

i have a roland pianoplus 300 (HP-300) bought 1984. It has midi in and out sockets but i dont know how to set it to send to a pc program like cakewalk or cubase etc. There is no switch so it must be an unmarked keyboard note or something. Help !
