If it would be that simple I wouldn't ask for the collective wisdom of the
list. Have you worked with font annotation files? Even when the FAN file is
copied it behaves like the older one and is still associated with the
original font. IMHO the whole font annotation dialog box behaves a bit
stangely. Why wouldn't I first choose a font, and then choose a FAN to be
associated with. There is no way to copy anything from one FAN to another.
The copy and paste fonctions in the menu are enabled but they do nothing.
256 time dragging the rectangles to define the limits of the characters is a
waste of time I just can't afford.
Maybe Randy Stokes could have something to say to make this whole thing more
intelligible.
