For what it's worth Dennis, I tried to copy your problem by importing a new
2001d document in 2003a (all on Mac), which I couldn't. Because not all your
2k1 documents show the same behaviour I would look for difference(s) in all
possible options for the files to find out which one of the options maybe is
causing trouble. You could mail me, if you wish, a copy of a 'troubled' doc,
which I would be happy to try to convert, to see whether it shows the same
behaviour on my mac(hine).
