What i do at the moment, is rendering all my tunes into pdf documents. As i always have my laptop with me on tour its an easy task to reproduce a lost copy.
Our filing system (classical dance music) is sorted in this way: 100 101 etc. waltzes 150 151 waltzes with lyrics (we have a singer) ... 200 slow waltzes 250 "-" 300 Tango 400 Slowfox 500 Foxtrot And so on This way ist easy to find a specific dancestyle I think our system could be modified if you play different types of brass tunes So long Jörg =============================0 How do other group librarians maintain the music?
