Well, one half is. The kernel (Darwin) is a Unix system. But anything you
see - the whole GUI - has nothing to do with Unix. MacOS X has a huge API
with thousands of functions etc., none of which are related to Unix. Finale
uses those extensively. 

Linux users aren't likely to pay for something.

So, I would estimate the chances of a Linux version within the next 5 years
at about 1% probability.
