I've been very much aware of that, and frankly scared to death. When I got my present computer I leapt from System 8.0 to 9.2, and _System 9, the Missing Manual_ proved invaluable. Is there an equivalently useful book for OSX?

I haven't checked it out, but if you liked Pogue's OS 9 book, I'm sure this would be equally good.
