Oh, I'm quite sure she could. Say rather, that she would not allow her husband to correct her like a child.
My wife persists in leaving the first T out of "densitometry" even tho she's a nurse practitioner and uses the word all the time. I pointed it out to her once, and since I respect her intelligence I assume that she now knows what she's doing and doesn't care that much. The point of language, after all, is communication, and if [EMAIL PROTECTED] does the trick for her, who can argue?
