Hi Darcy,

I have also been following the latest news on XPostFacto and the TechSupport
Forum. It is very exciting and I am tempted to try this myself on my heavily
upgraded Wallstreet.
However, I am wondering about one thing: Will my USB sound module (an ESI
U24) work with Panther and the Wallstreet. Or put more simply, will USB
sound modules work for both recording and playback? (The ESI is driverless,
so that shouldn't be a problem, it should work with Apple's drivers.) The
reason I ask is this: Sound input is reported to not work reliably with XPF
on many older machines. I could not get any infos as to USB sound in.

It would actually help to know whether sound in through the built in sound
ports works on the Beige with Panther.

If anyone knows anything about this I'd be really happy about any
information.
