Well, option 1 is a ways off.....

Option 2 - I think I only HAVE SwingFont in my OS 9 system. Maybe it's a TrueType problem? I dunno if it is TrueType or Postscript I have in there.....but should it matter? I mean, things worked fine in OS 9 Classic with Finale 2003.........

Though, using SwingText in other applications, like Word, it doesn't work.............I'm thinking something is wrong with the font............

Eric,

I had the same problem with a font that worked fine in OS9 but not OSX. The
solution is to:

1) Use Finale 2004 only in OS9 (but it won't be certified to work in that OS
until the maintenance release). Or...

2) Remove any and all "SwingFont" family files from your OSX Library/Fonts
folder, make sure that the screen *AND* PostScript Type 1 font files are
residing in your OS9 System Folder/Fonts folder. Then quit and re-launch
Finale 2004. It will look for the appropriate font files in your OS9 system
folder and everything should be well.

Hope this helps,
Brian Williams
