It's not just Mac and it's not just OSX. I'm on Windows, and as I stated earlier my computer is fast. The smart shapes lag behind on my system, too. Now working on a score about 240 pages of large wind ensemble. Have inputed about half. The further I go, the more I see hairpins lagging behind, smart slurs lagging behind, trill extensions lagging behind, Speedy getting slower and slower about changing voices and frames. Definitely slower than version 2003. Reminds me of the optional "mouse trail" in Windows. Not the visual effect on screen but the feeling.
