Is it just me or is the behavior of the playback toolbar counterintuitive?
My issue is this: If you pause playback, and then type a different measure number into the measure spinner, your typing is ignored. Doesn't it seem obvious that if you have manually typed into the spinner that you *don't* want to continue where you paused? Yes, obviously, you can hit *stop* if you don't want to continue, but I'll often pause to fix something and not need to proof the change, so I *want* to continue, but in order to reserve for myself the ability to continue, I need to pause. The current setup requires remembering that I was paused, hitting STOP and only *then* typing in the number where I want to restart. Isn't the fact that I've *changed* the number definitive enough to cancel the pause? If everyone agrees with me on this (and I'm not simply uninformed about how to make it work properly) we should send in feature requests to fix this. -- David W.
