Are you using staves with independent key signatures?  I ask because I usually do, when I am writing without key signatures.  And I find that I cannot use Mass Edit: Transpose reliably to transpose to or from staves with independent key signatures.

If one of the staves is the French horn, I wouldn't worry about it; they will miss the notes anyway.

I was recently alarmed to find that Finale has not been 100% reliable when transposing chromatically either from the Staff Tool or via Mass Edit. This is a serious cause of concern and caused some embarrassment when rehearsing a new work a while ago as some accidentals were missing (e.g. A up a major 6th goes to F). Respell Notes seems to fix the problem and bringing up Edit frame shows the accidental unchecked these kind of procedures shouldn't be necessary.

I have since noticed the same problem in a different document. As I often compose without key signatures, this is my preferred method of transposing. Win Support gave a very woolly and unsatisfactory response. Before I reply, has anyone else found this to be an issue?
