Fm(9) could be mistaken for Fm79... I would write Fm add9 in this case to make sure....

As to minsus5no7 I could imagine she meant b6 instead of 5, than no seven would make some sense. Ok, technically it would be Db/F, but since this chord is often used in progressions such as Fm Fm(b6) Fm6 Fm(b6), it might make sense. Yes, James Bond. Just my imagination...

To solve the question I would also suggest to ask her what she would play and correct the spelling. Maybe it could help, too, to get the "surroundings" of the chord - what comes before and after? Is there a melody?

While this makes some 'sense', it would be much better served for players to
just write Fm add9.  I lived and worked in Los Angeles for 24 years and I'd
write this same chord symbol Fm(9).  No one EVER questioned it and no one
EVER played Fm9 by mistake.
